Huawei announces Hisilicon Kirin 710 mid-range Chipset.

Huawei announced its new mobile chipset the Hisilicon Kirin 710, it is a mid-range SoC.

Kirin 710 is manufactured using TSMC 12 nm fabrication process while the Snapdragon 710 SoC which is manufactured using the 10nm FinFET process.

It is a Octa-core processor. 
four high performance Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz

four power efficient Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz.

The GPU is Mali-G51 MP4

Kirin 710 performs 75% better than that of Kirin 659, and its multi-core performance is 68% higher.

The first smartphone using the Kirin 710 SoC is the recently revealed Nova 3i.
